My aim is to help people to sing and express themselves freely and authentically.

I warmly welcome every student to my class who would like to attain vocal freedom.

Singing is all about creating beautiful resonance with our body, which serves as a medium to express our feelings and thoughts.

Therefore in my classes, I create an interactive, safe, fun and friendly learning environment while still being attentive and informative to cater every student’s needs and progress.

= Methodology=

Throughout my years of vocal training and teaching, I realize the importance of the alignment of body, mind and spirit.

Our vocal instrument is very delicate and it reflects directly our state of being. Therefore I always try to guide students to bring all the awareness inwards and be an active listener of the now. 

In my lessons, I often start with breathing exercises for grounding and warming up the body & the voice gently.

Then we will work on the vocal techniques and explore vocal possibilities throughout the whole vocal range. We can work on sight-singing skills (prima vista) and ear training as well.

At the end we will work on one song or two songs according to the preference and progress of the student.

I can also help students to prepare for vocal competitions, vocal exams (such as ABRSM and Trinity exams) and concerts.

Group lessons are also possible upon discussion.

= Teaching experience=

I have been giving singing lessons to students of various ages, musical backgrounds and interests since 2012, in groups and in individual basis. 

Currently I give singing lessons in International School Utrecht and privately in my studio in  Utrecht.
